EA and Maxis release a new trailer today officially confirming early reports that The Sims 4 is headed to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The Sims 4 was divisive when it first launched, but Maxis has continued to update and improve the game in the time since. Thankfully, many of these additions, like ghosts, pools, playable toddlers, and new careers, will be available in the console versions at launch.
Maxis and the team at Blind Squirrel Games also plan to bring DLC packs to the console versions on a regular basis.
If you pre-order the game, you can get the Perfect Patio Pack, which includes hot tubs, clothing, and decor. There’s also a Deluxe Party Edition of the game that includes the Perfect Patio Pack, a flaming tiki bar, a laser light show, animal hats, and more.
The Sims 4 comes to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 17. You can check out the announcement trailer below.
